Established in Bynea, this budding enterprise was the brainchild of H.J. Phillips and his enterprising son. Little did they know, this humble beginning would blossom into a cornerstone of the local community, known today as Phillips of Llanelli.

As the years rolled on, Phillips of Llanelli expanded its services. True to their promise of encompassing “All your motor needs under one roof,” the company provided services for nearly new, pre-registered, and used cars. With an eye on quality and customer satisfaction, they became authorised Peugeot and Citroën service providers, further solidifying their reputation in the motor trade.

Their workshop opened its doors to any make of vehicle, offering comprehensive servicing and MOT services, ensuring every car that rolled out was road-ready and safe. This commitment to comprehensive automotive care attracted a wide range of customers, from everyday car owners to prominent businesses in need of fleet contracts.

In 1980, the company reached a significant milestone, becoming a main Peugeot dealer. This achievement not only marked a new chapter but also earned us the title of the oldest Peugeot dealer in Wales. This legacy of excellence has been maintained through continual adaptation and expansion, now operating under the name H.J. Phillips & Son Ltd.
